Hospital-Homebound Services
Hospital-Homebound Instruction serves students who are physically unable to attend school. In order to be eligible for this service, the student must be absent from school for a minimum of 10 consecutive school days due to an illness.
Hospital-Homebound services are designed to provide continuity of educational services between the classroom and home or hospital for students in Brantley County Schools whose medical needs, either physical or psychiatric, restrict them to a hospital or to their home for a period of time that will significantly interfere with their education. For clarification, please see rule 160-4-2-31 of the Department of Education.
